Peter Knibb

Head Chef

Born and brought up locally, Peter studied at The Trinity School and trained at Stratford College.

After completing a work experience placement at Claridge’s Hotel restaurant in London, Peter was invited to join their team under Head Chef John Williams. It was here he discovered the style of cooking he wanted to pursue and went on to further his experience of modern European cuisine working under Paul Rhodes at Chez Nico (3 Michelin Stars). He then spent 6 months on the luxury yacht ‘Seabourne Goddess I’ where he was part of the team who catered for Cliff Richard’s 60th Birthday party. The Gucci Family then employed him to cook on their private yacht as it cruised the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

On returning home he worked at Mallory Court Hotel (1 Michelin Star) and more recently Pearl Restaurant in London where he was Sous Chef under rising star Jun Tanaka.

His time spent travelling the world has enhanced his culinary experience and range of cooking styles.
